Turn attendees into leads Presentation Transcript

  • 1. How to Turn Leads into Sales Smash Hit Displays
  • 2. Why are trade shows important?
    • Meet hundreds of potential customers, partners, and vendors
    • Exposure
    • Promote new products or services
    • Check out the competition
    • Build long-term relationships
  • 3. Start With Small Talk
    • Don’t expect attendees to approach you!
    • Break the ice with “small talk” –
    • How’s your day going?
    • How’s the weather?
    • Little questions like this will help get the trade show attendees to open up to you
    • NEVER begin with your sales pitch!!
  • 4. Always Ask Open-Ended Questions
    • Don’t give the attendees the opportunity to say “no”.
    • Learn to really LISTEN to your potential customers to find out what their needs are
    • Listening will lead to long-term relationships
  • 5. Follow up, Follow up, Follow up!
    • You are competing for their business against other competitors that were at the same trade show. They will remember those businesses who contact them after the event.
    • Send thank-you cards or give them a call. I would refrain from sending an email because it may come across as spam.
  • 6. Hope these tips help!
    • Let Smash Hit Displays help you create a trade show display that will make you the star of the show!
