  • Anchorage• Tuesday- Water taxi to Anchorage. Activities on this stunning beach then a 3-4 hour hike back to Marahau through Abel Tasman National Park
  • Touch the Sea Aquarium in Mapua has beenspecially created to allow a close encounter with New Zealand sea & shoreline life.We will take part in an interactive session about sharks with marine biologist Richard De Hamel

  • 1. This Camp will be a new experience for many of you. It isnot a holiday camp, so the main rule that we have at Schoolapplies at Camp too. That is, behave sensibly and showconsideration for others.2. Think safety at all times. Accidents usually happen whenpeople are careless.3. Never go off anywhere by yourself. Check in with yourleader for all activities, meal times, and duties. Rememberwhich areas are out of bounds.4. Remember the outdoor code. No live trees must be cut ordamaged and avoid disturbing any animal life. Do not collectunnecessarily. Treat the camp as you would your home.Remember we have to pay for any damage.   • 5 Be willing to join in and try new experiences and useyour five senses. The more you try the more you will learn.Set yourself a new challenge every day.6. Consideration for others : - in your cabin. - at meal times - at quiet times - in group activities - in games - in personal cleanliness. Year 6 Camp 2010
  • 7. Look after your health. You will be very busy duringthe day so make sure that you get enough food and rest.Make sure you put sunscreen on every day and reapplythroughout the day.8. Come and see your group leader, Mrs Pearl or MrsBrieseman if you have a problem that is bothering you.9. Bush - no live trees are to be damaged.10. All buildings, including toilets, must be left clean andtidy. Year 6 Camp 2010
  • 1. You may explore the ship but you must always be in your group.2. You must report to the group assembly point as directed by the adult in charge of your group3. You must behave in a sensible manner at all times and have consideration for other passengers4. You must not play running games5. Stay away from the games rooms/slot machines6. You must complete the Boat Activity sheet before the ferry berths at Picton Year 6 Camp 2010
