A soldier is willing to sacrifice their life for their country without hesitation. They are committed to protecting national boundaries and citizens, facing extreme conditions far from family and friends. Every time a soldier dies, they don't just leave behind their duties but also a family that must now live without their loved one. It is difficult to live the life of a soldier which requires courage, selflessness and the ability to lay down one's life for others who may not appreciate it. Their challenges include staying alive in dangerous conditions and coping if injured in a way that prevents further service, as they can no longer perform the role they love.

Every Day a Soldier Sacrifices for His Nation
1. From the desk of ROHAN AGARWAL
Every Day a Soldier Dies…
Soldier-a selfless soul ready to die, it is as the word itself says and reality is no different. Soldier
is one who fights for his nation and don’t consider anything before his mother land. A soldier is a
wall for its nation’s boundaries who bears all the blows on himself but don’t say a thing and
protects his nation against all the forces acting against it.
The word soldier is made up seven letters; seven is a number which is very significant, according
to scriptures ‘seven’ symbolizes ‘completeness and perfection’, and I see nothing wrong in it, a
soldier is a complete and perfect person who is away from all other worldly pleasures, living
thousand miles away from his family and friends facing all the extreme cold and heat and all the
other threats provided to him, without expecting anything from the people and what everyone do,
they take them for granted. Every time there is a war or an attack on the democracy of the nation
a soldier is the first person who step forward to take the bullet into his chest so that it keeps away
from the innocents, isn’t a soldier an innocent soul, a soldier never dies alone with him dies a
son, a brother, a husband, a father and with all this a family is broken and shattered and then this
family will be on a war without their warrior and that war will be for survival.
Being a soldier is a very big commitment, a commitment with all those who sleeps with this
belief that someone is out there to guarding any sort of threat moving towards them; this is a
huge and great responsibility to shoulder that if a person is not perfect it will be impossible to
carry it out successfully. But a soldier not only successfully shoulders this responsibility but also
in lieu of that even sacrifices his life without giving a second thought. This dedication and
determination of a soldier is no match. All the hardships and difficulties faced on physical and
mental level are not big enough to effect the emotion that a soldier have towards his motherland.
This makes a soldier a complete and perfect human being. Understanding the soldier’s life is not
a difficult task but living a soldier’s life is no ordinary task, it requires courage, selflessness and
above that ability to sacrifice life for others who might don’t even values it.
A soldier is an unsung real life hero, who is glorified upon his death, a soldier’s life is full of
challenges that he faces on daily basis regarding everything and above all the toughest challenge
that he faces is to stay alive because all it takes is a single bullet at the right spot and the game is
over for him. Another aspect of soldier’s life is when he is partially dead i.e. when bullet hits the
wrong spot and the soldier is not able to stand again to defend his country though he is alive but
he is not living at that time of life because he is fighting a war within himself, about accepting
the truth that from now on he will not able to do what he loves to do the most. Every time a
soldier gives his life for safety and security of the nation it is an unwritten, unsaid and not
payable debt on the people of the country and it is our duty to look after and support those
families who had suffered the blow that their brave son, brother, husband or father will never
return.
