RA.ORG.NZ is a website specifically designed to help patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and their carers better understand and manage their disease. It contains a wealth of information from basic facts and terminology, to specific biologic treatment options and lifestyle advice for managing with RA. There are information fact sheets and suggested questions to ask the doctor to download as well as links to other important websites for RA patients in NZ. One key feature is the self-assessment tool for patients to input and track over time key measures relating to their disease: tender and swollen joints, pain and fatigue levels, impact on day-to-day living and their goals.
