Starview’s MSP Series skin packaging machines are designed for low volume applications. They incorporate a
stationary heating system with instant on/off heaters, which come up to heat instantly during cycles and turn off
for loading / unloading. The MSP skin packaging machines have timer control for precision repeatability and an
accurate turbine regulator. The MSP Series is available in the standard sizes 12 by 18 inches and 18 by 24 inches.

Description
Starview’s SP & SP/IR Series skin packaging machines are designed for low to medium volume applications. SP
machines incorporate a stationary heating system with instant on/off heaters. SP/IR models incorporate an auto-
matic retractable radiant heater panel system, controlled by percentage controllers for precise heat distribution. All
SP&SP/IR skin packaging machine shave PLC timer control for precision repeatability and an accurate turbine regu-
lator. An in-feed table, out-feed table and impulse type hot wire cut-off are all standard. A multi-stage vacuum
system for complex parts is included as a part of the HMI.
Starview’s SP & SP/IR Series skin packaging machines can be equipped with an optional film temperature sensor
that overrides the PLC heat timer for consistent film heating. The SP/IR series may be ordered with a blister forming
option to produce low pro le blisters from roll stock.
