To Whom It May Concern:
Penni Lawrence worked for the City of Lawton for a period of 2 Yzlears with the last six months
under my direct supervision. During that period, I had the great pleasure of seeing her transition
from a legal secretary to my Administrative Assistant. That was her last position before moving
back to her hometown to raise her family.
Penni is a hard-working self-starter who invariably understands exactly what is needed as an
Administrative Assistant, and how to get those tasks accomplished quickly and effectively.
During her time with me, she has tackled every task with enthusiasm and has never missed a
deadline. She has kept an accurate track of the Human Resources budget and kept me apprised of
requests and concerns regularly.
Ms Lawrence is a resourceful, creative, and solution-oriented person who was able to take the
position and make it her own. She functioned well as a team member when required and works
independently just as efficiently.
On the interpersonal side, Ms Lawrence has proven written and verbal communication skills. She
gets along well with colleagues at her own level and has garnered respect from upper management
in the City as well. She is respected, both as a person and a professional, by Crty employees and
citizens alike.
Three weeks &go, when Ms Lawrence announced her resignation so she could move closer to her
family in Texas, we were saddened to see her leave, although we wished her the greatest success
in her future. I will certainly miss her both as a person and as exemplary employee.
ln closing, os detailed above, based on my experience working with her, I can unreservedly
recommend Penni Lawrence to you for any position requiring her skills as an Administrative
Assistant. If you would like further elaboration, feel free to call me at (580) 581-3395.
