#Dhaka Mass Rapid Transit Development project
Dhaka mass transit company limited will implement the project worth $676.1M which is scheduled to be completed by
December 2022.
#Chattorgram Cox’s Bazar highway improvement project
The roads and high way department will complete the project worth $18M within September 2023
#Jamuna Railway Bridge construction project.
Bangladesh railway will implement the project worth $833.7M with a target to complete by March 2024.
#Hazrat Shahjahan international airport expansion project.
The civil aviation authority of Bangladesh is implementing the project worth $749.3M which is expected to be complete
by April 2024.
#Urban development and city governance project
The local govt. engineering dept. will implement the project by June 2026. The $226.25M project would contribute to
economic growth, improvement of living condition and sustainable cities.
#Food value chain improvement project
Bangladesh infrastructure finance fund will implement the project worth $105.1M within September 2026

12. JICA funded future project
#The European bank for reconstruction and development (EBRD) and JICA are planned to scale up investments in
sustainable energy and infrastructure, as well as in sectors in the united nation’s 2030 sustainable development
goals. The two institution are planning to enhance the effectiveness and sustainability of their operations in
countries where they both are active.
#JICA partners with Accenture on digital transformation projects across southeast Asia ( Cambodia, Thailand,
Vietnam)
#JICA lists 80 development project in new Philippine ODA map for supporting their economic recovery amid the
COVID-19 pandemic.

As globalization accelerates in the 21th century, we are forced with a range
of issues that can’t be solved by individual countries, but must be addressed
by the whole human race.
JICA is the primary Japanese governmental agency responsible for Japan’s
bilateral ODA. It’s a charted and assisting economic and social growth in 150
developing countries and the promotion of the international corporation. JICA
has 96 overseas offices all over the world and about 2000 permanent stuff.
