Do your research Groupwork

Presentation
Choose someone you admire. It could
be someone you know, or a famous
singer, writer, politician, thinker...
Gather information about this person,
for example, biographical information,
information about the effect they have
on other people, their work, opinions
they have….
Work in a group of three or four.
Talk about your heroes and see if they
have anything in common.
Decide what qualities you expect a hero
to have.
How important are heroes for people
today?
Your poster should include information about your heroes –
• background information about each hero
• explain why they are you heroes, what you admire about them
You can also include sections on –
• why heroes are (not) important
• what qualities you need to be a hero
• heroes today v heroes 100 years ago
• you decide!
Don’t forget to include pictures, photos and images!
Present your poster to the class. Be prepared to answer
questions about it.
