GAO We write to ask you to request an investigation by the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) into the past and present impacts of asbestos exposure near the Ambler Asbestos Piles and BoRit Asbestos Superfund site. Residents deserve to know whether asbestos contamination in the air, water, and soil continues to impact Ambler residents’ health and the environment. Although the Superfund site in Ambler is “remediated,” the continued presence of exposed asbestos suggests that there is more work to be done. We urge you to stand with the current and future residents of Ambler, Pennsylvania to make certain that their community is a safe place to live and work. Linda@adao.us
