  • 2. Began in 1962 by A. W. Partlo in Garner , NC  Our catalog began in 1989  One Annual Issue  25,000 copies  Our first website went live in 1996. It was only  informational.
  • 3. “Agri Supply’s goal is to provide quality  merchandise at the most reasonable price, to give our customers the best service possible and to treat all customers fairly.”
  • 4. Today we have 7 stores carrying 26,000+ items  for farm, shop, and home. Garner, NC - 1962   Greenville, NC - 1978  Tifton, GA - 1980  Florence, SC - 1985  Lumberton, NC - 1986  Statesboro, GA - 2000
  • 5. Today our Catalog is  bigger and better than ever! 12 issues a year   4.2 million catalogs sent in 2007 and growing  Our mail center currently encompasses 30,000 SF of warehouse space in Micro, NC with additional 30,000 SF of warehouse space nearly complete.
  • 6. Agri Supply also has a wholesale division that  sells farm equipment parts and implements for resale. We are a true multi-channel marketer  headquartered in Garner for 46 years.
  • 7. Our new website was launched in December of 2007   21,700+ items online  Email newsletter
  • 8. Agri Supply is embracing technology to serve  our customer in better in new, fast and exciting ways. This year we have begun to use various types  of Web 2.0 social networking media to get our message out. Message Boards  YouTube  Twitter  Blogs and RSS Feeds 
  • 9. Some of these technologies we are already  using , some will come within the next year. Message Boards  We have encouraged our managers to get involved  with message boards that have interests that are aligned with our product lines.
  • 10. YouTube  An online social network to load videos.  How we use it in business marketing  To drive traffic to our website  To educate our customers on our products and basic  DIY projects.
  • 11. Twitter  Twitter is a social network that is web based and can be  transferred to your cell phone  There are also programs to help monitor those you follow and that follow you. Twitter is basically on the fly blogging in 140  characters or less How we use it in business marketing  Let them know about a new product or service  An Limited Time Offer  New email newsletter has gone out or post to a how-to  Portable Help Desk  Be an information source for our customers interests. 
  • 12. Blogs and RSS Feeds  Blogs= Web Log shortened becomes Blog  RSS Feed = Really Simple Syndication  RSS Readers – Google, Yahoo, & many others  How we use it in business marketing  In business, blogs work in much the same way as  email newsletters Reading blogs helps you keep up with industry  trends and the pulse of your customer base.
  • 13. We have gone down this path for one reason:  TO PUT OUR CUSTOMER FIRST 
