1. Installing Oracle application express
Oracle application express comes along with Oracle 11g Database.
• Run the apex configuration sequential file. It is mostly located into your oracle
home sub directory named APEX
[oracle@hostname ~]$ @ORACLE_HOME/APEX/apxconf.sql
• Enter values for the XDB HTTP listener port and the password for the
Application Express ADMIN user such as the followings:
• Enter a password for the ADMIN user [] {Enter your admin password here}
• Enter a port for the XDB HTTP listener {keep the default port as it is 8080}
• Login as sysdba then unlock the anonymous user:
SQL> alter user anonymous account unlock;
• When the installation completed, open your internet browser and type the apex
http address as the following syntax:
http://your host name:8080/apex
1. Enter internal for the workspace .
2. Enter admin for the username.
3. Enter your password.

2. 4. Create a new workspaces.

3. 5. Logout then login again using your own workspace that you recently created.
