  3. Send out request for qualificationsFind a list of willing contractorsDraft a request for proposal and choose the best contractor Get approval by St. Edwards Board of TrusteesDraft contract with university lawyers presentMake sure contract is signed by each partyProduce the SOP in manner that can be reached by all staff, preferably onlineMake sure steps are put in place so that a standard operating procedure can be done for each project
  4. Impact on goalThe construction on campus limits the space available, increases noise, and diminishes the aesthetic appeal of the campus. These factors could decrease the quality of the conference and damage the reputation of St. Edward’s University and would obstruct our goal of bringing in revenue. Impact on cultureThe construction causes road closures, walkway detours, and general annoyances. The University wants to create a welcoming, safe, and attractive image and the construction may dampen it.Impact on external stakeholdersThe conference attendees are paying for their tickets before they attend, and some may be disappointed in the state of the campus grounds.
  5. Qualitative Analysis – Current State Impact on goalIf key staff members quit, the conference may not be feasible, or the quality may diminish severely. This could affect our goals of hosting a successful conference and making a profit. Impact on cultureThe staffing shortage may increase the stress in the Center for Ethics and Leadership office. If staff members from other offices are recruited, it may affect services in those offices as well. Impact on external stakeholdersIf enough staff members quit, and St. Edward’s cancels the conference, AAPT would have to find another location for the conference.
  6. Impact on goalThe card issue presents the opportunity for attendees to spend more than their daily limit. If the attendees do this, St. Edward’s would have to make up the extra and this would affect our goal of generating revenue. Impact on cultureIf attendees go over their daily limit, St. Edward’s would have to cover the difference. These financial discrepancies may cause disagreements between St. Edward’s and Bon Appetite. Impact on external stakeholdersBon Appetite may experience a period of losses due to the “overspending” on the cards.
