Newscaster lets teens program their own news, choose their own sources, length and format. When users launch Newscaster presents a menu of timely video news stories from varied sources. Users can pick one of three auto-generated, fixed-length playlists: three, five and ten minutes. Or they can build their own by selecting news stories from different topics and networks.
