Find the full journal title in NCBI's NLM catalog

1. Go to PubMed at: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez?holding=izauctlib

2. Change the drop-down menu to ‘NLM Catalog’

3. In the search box, type the abbreviation of the journal name, for example, ‘proc natl acad sci’ then [journal name] in square brackets after the name – no spaces - and then click ‘Search’.

4. The full title of the journal name will be displayed as well as information about the journal.
