In the Spotlight Teen Talent Show highlights the talents of teens, ages
13 to 18. The competition is judged on the abilities of each contestant/group
according to their overall appeal, showmanship, interaction with the audience
and overall talent. Winners will have the option to perform at the Arts In the

Ride out to the concert for the Bicycle Bash! Special bike parking and party for
those that "ride"!

Hook, Line and Sinker
Kick back on the pond and let our Park Rangers teach you the basics of
fishing. This one-day clinic will teach your child how to tie up a line, bait a hook
and catch a fish. Parents are welcome to join in the fun. Fishing poles are
required. Ages: 5 -14. FEE: Free! Must register in advance.

The CB&I TRI - The Woodlands triathlon, a USAT sanctioned and certified
event, is scheduled for Saturday, May 3,2014,7 a.m., at Northshore Park.
The triathlon consists of a 500-meter swim, a 15-mile bike and a 5K run.

Eneineerin? For Kids - TOYS, TOYS, and more TOYS!
Morning session introduces younger students to mechanical engineering using
the Engineering Design Process to design, create and test solutions for an
assortment of toys. Afternoon session uses LEGO® WeDo™ Robots, to build
an airplane rescue, a giant escape, and a sailboat storm. Students also learn
how to program and operate their creations with a lap-top computer.

Morning session challenges students to design a theme park. Students
building on reflective and problem-solving skills, while exploring multiple
engineering disciplines. Afternoon session students participate in a "Robotic
Olympics" and send their best robots to compete. Students build a basic robot
using an EV3 LEGO® Robotics educational kit, then modify it to perform
athletic challenges such as basketball, hockey wrestling, and track.
