Simulate App User Experience Axure Mobile Prototype Android
1. Axure RP Pro 7.0 Mobile Prototype [Android]
How to simulate your Axure Mobile Prototype to behave like an "App"
Step 1
Open your prototype in Google Chrome or any other web browser without a site map
Wrong URL: http://vsqq76.axshare.com/#p=jepter_flight_booking_app
Correct URL: http://vsqq76.axshare.com/jepter_flight_booking_app.html
Step 2
Go to the option menu and select "Add to Home Screen" Axure then generate the name for
your app using your project name you may change the name to any of your choice and also
an app icon will be created note that you do not have control over the app icon Axure
generates for you then press "OK"
NOTE: You must have space on your Android Mobile Phone [home screen] so that Axure
can place the shortcut of your app there.
Press "Add to Home
Screen"
2. Step 3
Locate your App Icons on Android Mobile Phone [home screen] and Open it as you would
with any other app
NOTE: Axure does not consider your device. So when you press back button on your
mobile phone Axure may go back to the last page you viewed if you have used [Pages and
/ or Dynamic Panels] in your prototype if you have used only dynamic panels Axure will
terminate your app.
SO CONSIDER YOUR DESIGN FLOW SO YOUR PROTOTYPE DEMO CAN GO SMOOTHLY
Your App icon
Your App without the
address bar
3. Step 4
Once your prototype shortcut has been generated. Each time you update your prototype in
Axure and then publish to Axure Server the app icon created will work as per your current /
last change.
Enjoy your app demo you can simply send this to your client so they can test the app and
give feedback
