A driven highly skilled and motivated to succeed individual, with 15 years’ experience in financial
services including providing advice, coordinating, designing and delivering training and managing high
performing teams with a proven track record of success, including managing the top performing team
nationally for the past two years across all score card measures including customer needs met, risk,
customer outcomes, service, colleague engagement and retention. Further to this I have been the

Local Bancassurance Manager, West Wales
(July2012 to present)
I was responsible for the delivery of the bancassurance needs met plan for one of the largest local
director groups within Lloyd’s community bank, ensuring quality customer outcomes and managing
retention of existing business within a robust T&C scheme. The team I manage consists of 9 financial

(July 2009 – July 2012)
I was responsible for coordinating, designing and delivering training through remote and face to face
channels to the HBOS and Lloyds retail bank. In addition to this I was responsible for the coaching of
the training officers through regular observation and feedback. This ensured the quality of the
delivery of key change management during the full integration between HBOS and Lloyd’s TSB. I
have worked throughout the UK as part of the National Training Team.
Key Achievements:
Being promoted from training officer to consultant within 9 months of being in role.
Being the project lead for cross heritage working, identifying synergies to reduce duplication
and costs, developing a skills matrix that could be used to maximise training utilisation and
reduce white days.
Being recognised at the National Conference for a study and report that led to induction
events being held locally resulting in cost savings and a better work life balance for trainers
and new entrants.
Being recognised by the bancassurance National Sales Manager and National Training
manager for work carried out in improving one team working in Halifax.
Being the lead on the team that redesigned and implemented the new Supervisor Induction
programme for bancassurance supervisors in Halifax and Lloyds.

As a financial advisor I was responsible for providing holistic financial planning advice to bank
customers on their personal finances including protection, pension and investment planning. I worked
as part of the branch team in identifying other potential needs and making referrals to my colleagues..
Additionally I worked alongside the management team in providing coaching and feedback to improve
the customer experience. Individually I was responsible for managing my risk KPI’s including file
quality, customer outcomes and retention.

As an Area Manager I provided holistic financial planning to my clients, this included mortgage,
protection, pension and saving and Investment advice. I also coached and managed two Sales
Agents who were responsible for providing general insurance advice to my clients and completing
annual reviews to identify any further need areas that I could have provided financial advice in.

Hobbies & Interests
Individually I enjoy training to keep fit and active, I also coach a local rugby team, I have help guide
them to three promotions in the last five years we currently play in division 1 West Central of the
National Leagues.
