Filming was mostly carried out in a village in
Buckinghamshire. The farm was filmed in Surrey and
the war office scenes were set in the University of
London in the Senate House.
So the film was shot over a small area, saving costs.
Trained animals were used for the special effects,
except when the pigs fly.
