What Bathroom Style’s are Trending in 2013?  As we all know the bathroom is one of the most used rooms in your home, therefore when you are choosing a theme for your bathroom you want it to be a trendy as possible.  Some of the bathrooms currently trending in 2013 are the following:  Scandinavian Themes: Grey may not seem like the most endearing of colours in the pallet however it is one of the key colours for the bathroom in 2013. When mixed with blue and green it can give off an calming aurora to your bathroom which is the perfect environment to relax in the evening.  Wet Rooms: Another popular features of trending bathrooms in 2013 are wet rooms. These allow you to walk in to your shower and gives you more space and freedom when using you bathroom.
  3. 3. Lighting  The bathroom can be a very hectic place especially if you have a large family however it can also become a room in which you can retreat if you want to relax. One of the best ways people can do this is by changing the lighting of their current bathroom. Some of the most popular lighting trends in 2013 are the following:  Candle lit: One of the things that are synonymous with a bathroom especially from a female perspective is you settle down in the evening with a bath, candles and a glass of wine. Therefore one of the best ways in which you can create a relaxing ambience is by buying some candles for the bathroom which can be lit before you get in the bath.  LED Lighting: LED lighting is one of the ways you can create the perfect atmosphere in you bathroom as you can set the brightness and colour of the room digitally which means you get the best lighting to help you relax.

This is one of the most important features of a contemporary bathroom.  Dual Basin: I recently visited a friends house and one of the first thing that I noticed was that his bathroom now contained a dual basin. This is a brilliant feature for a bathroom especially for those with a family as it means the school rush could be that much easier in the mornings.  Stone Basins: Another basin that is becoming extremely popular in recent times are stone basins which can give your bathroom almost a medieval feel.  Wall Mounted Basins: There are many different types of basins however one of the most popular are ceramics wall mounted basins which can be mounted on to a cabinet or on to a wall.

Baths  One of the most relaxing feeling in life is getting into a hot bath after a long days work and chilling out in the evening as relaxing in the bath has become so popular in the UK it has prompted designers to become much more creative when creating the showpiece of your bathroom:  Circular Baths: One of the most fashionable baths in 2013 is a circular bath which is in the style of a Jacuzzi and an open air shower. These are becoming more prominent in the latest contemporary bathrooms, so expect to see more of these in homes around the country.  Roll Top Bath: Some may see these as quite an old school type of bath however fashion has a tendency to revisit itself. Almost designed as a tub it give people the perfect bath to put there arms up either side and relax, perhaps with a glass of wine!  Free Standing Baths: Sometimes when we think of an unfashionable bathroom we can picture the bath being stuck away in the corner of the room attached to the wall however if you have the space to work with one of the ways in which you can make you bathroom more trendy is by purchasing a free standing bath which can become the centrepiece of your bathroom.
