4. Get more sleep: No one wants to be told when to go to
bed. But if you decide to make sleep a priority you will see
the results in your waistline. It is probably the single most
effective way to lose weight. And most people don't give
sleep and rest the attention it deserves. But it is
important. 8 hours of sleep is optimal. When the body
doesn't get the rest it needs, it affects the secretion of
ghrelin which tells the body to feel hungry. Which means
not only do you feel hungrier with less sleep, but odds are,
you will probably eat more. So, if you're operating on 4-5
hours of sleep and you want to lose weight fast, try
increasing your sleep time by a half hour a night until you
get closer to the 8 hour goal. You will see a difference. And
you'll feel better too!
