2. God created Adam and Eve in His Own image and placed them in the Garden of Eden. He
told them, “You may freely eat the fruit of every tree in the garden— except the tree of the
knowledge of good and evil.”
But Eve saw that the fruit was beautiful and looked delicious, so she picked some of the
fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to Adam and he ate it, too. Because they disobeyed,
God sent them out of the Garden of Eden.

Своему образу. Он поселил их в
Эдемском саду и сказал:
«Можешь есть плоды с любого
дерева в саду, но не ешь с дерева
познания добра и зла.»
Ева увидела, что плод был

направлении.
God told Jonah to go to
Nineveh and warn its
people. However, Jonah
didn’t want to do this so he
got on a ship going the
opposite direction.

4. Господь навел на
море страшный
ветер, и поднялся
такой сильный
шторм, что
корабль был готов
разбиться.
– Возьмите меня
и бросьте в море, –
сказал Иона, – и оно
утихнет перед
вами. Я знаю, что
этот страшный
шторм обрушился
на вас из-за меня.
God sent a strong wind and a terrible storm. The boat shook back and forth and almost
crashed.
Jonah said, “The storm is my fault. Throw me into the sea and the storm will stop.”

5. The sailors threw Jonah in the ocean and the storm immediately stopped!
Потом Моряки взяли Иону, бросили его за борт, и бушевавшее море утихло.

6. Господь сделал так,
что Иона проглотила
огромная рыба, и
Иона пробыл в
желудке рыбы три
дня и три ночи.
God sent a big fish to
swallow Jonah. Jonah
was in the fish for
three days.

7. Господь повелел
рыбе, и она
изрыгнула Иону на
сушу. Потом Иона
выполнил Божье
повеление.
God told the fish to
spit Jonah out on
dry land. Then
Jonah obeyed what
God has asked him
to do.

8. One day while walking by the Sea of Galilee, Jesus saw four fishermen. Jesus called out to
them, “Come and follow Me and be My disciples.” And they immediately left everything to
follow Jesus.

Он сказал им:

9. Later, Jesus saw a man named Matthew collecting taxes for Rome. Jesus said to him,
“Follow Me!” and Matthew immediately left everything and followed Jesus.
Иисус увидел
человека по
имени
Матфей,
сидевшего в
будке
сборщика
налогов. И
сказал ему:
«Следуй за
Мной».
Матфей
встал и
пошёл за
Ним.

10. Jesus said, “Anyone who listens
to Me and obeys Me is like a
wise man who built a house
on solid rock.
Иисус сказал: «любой кто
приходит ко Мне, слушает и
исполняет Мои слова: он
подобен человеку, который
строит дом на прочной
скале.

11. The flood came and
the river rushed
against the house, but
it was built so well
that it didn’t even
shake!
И если случится
наводнение, хлынет
вода на дом,
стараясь смыть,
она его не сдвинет,
так как он хорошо
построен.

12. But anyone who hears
what I say and doesn’t
obey Me is like a
foolish man who builds
his house on the sand.
Но тот, кто слушает,
но не исполняет того,
что Я говорю,
подобен человеку, не
строящему дом на
прочной скале.

13. When the flood came
and the river rushed
against the house, it
was smashed to pieces!
И если случится
наводнение, хлынет
вода на дом, то его
дом падает и
разваливается».
