SPEAKER NOTES The Big Picture Most of us use internet search engines like Google and Bing to search for content, but the content that we can find is just the tip of the iceberg, because ‘The Public Web’ constitutes only 2% of the accessible stuff on the Web. Beneath the waterline there are an additional 9 Trillion pages of content – on what we might call, ‘The Private Web’; this is, Corporate intranets, private networks and subscription services. And deeper still there are an estimated 18 Trillion pages of content residing on large data repositories – The Deep Web.
The book provides a “how to” for understanding the Cloud and ECM. It is intended as a simple primer on the topic. It should help anyone in IT with the explanation within their organization.
