forensic psychology, which combines the study of the
human mind with a thorough understanding of
United States law. As is the case with psychologists
practicing in other fields, a forensic psychologist may
work in any number of settings, although they most
commonly find employment with prisons and jails,
rehabilitation centers, police departments, and law
firms.
