Children in GPS Bibikachashma-I organized a stop smoking and tobacco activity as part of a Design for Change contest. They made banners and play cards to educate people in local shops and pan shops about the disadvantages and health risks of smoking and tobacco use, including increased risk of cancer, heart disease, and liver disease. The children successfully convinced the shop owners to stop selling tobacco and cigarettes, especially to children, and the shop patrons agreed to quit smoking and discourage friends and family from smoking as well.

Disadvantages and causes of smoking and tobacco
In that area they are many pan shops and large number of people addicted Smoking and tobacco including
children
For that purpose this school children thought that we explain disadvantages of the tobacco and smoking, Children
decide to make Play cards on tobacco and smoking
Children made Banners and after than they went to shops and explained about the causes of smoking and
taking tobacco they explained taking tobacco cause to cancer and smoking cause to heart and liver disease and show
the play cards to the people. Children went to the pan shop and ask the owner don’t sale tobacco and cigarettes to
the people because they are very harmful for human being and they explained they are increase pollution and untidy
the locality.
Out come:
Children met with those persons they agree with children advices and they promise they never take
tobacco and we suggest our friends and family members don’t take tobacco and smoking
