My news website called 'Skeen' would aim to provide news for 12-16 year olds. It would feature both celebrity gossip and serious hard news stories through different tabs on the colorful and lively website designed to appeal to younger audiences with less formal typography and images. The website would cater to different interests within that age range by offering both gossip and true news stories.

1. My New news website would be called ‘Skeen’ and it would be aimed at 12 – 16
year olds. My news stories would be more on celebrity gossip with some ‘hard’
news, as not all young people like reading gossip which may not be 100% true.
The news website would be colourful with less formal typography, as young
people tend not to like serious and formal things. The actual background colour
of the webpage would be similar to the background, however it would have
colourful images to make it look more lively.
There would be a tab on the webpage for serious more ‘hard’ news and there
would be a tab for more celebrity gossip. Some 14-16 year olds may want to
hear about real and true news stories, however other 12-14 year olds may want
to hear gossip. You don’t really know therefore I would have both to match my
target audiences.
