The team of Kevin & Pamela Beswick, PEOPLE PLACES & THINGS PHOTOGRAPHICS was hired as “Photographer of Record” for the beautiful new
$300 Mil Firekeepers Casino. The Las Vegas-style casino has 180,000 sq. ft. of public opened in early August 2009 in Battle Creek, MI. The casino
presented a unique challenge to photograph due to extensive LED lighting programmed with ever-changing lighting patterns to music sound
tracks throughout the interior and exterior of the casino. The enormous steel Porte Cochere entrance outside the casino is shaped like a huge bird
with ever-changing LED’s plus has a video marquis entrance with moving patterns. Giant illuminated columns suggest trees. Tribal theme ele-
ments of “Fire, Earth, Air and Water” permeate the casino design. LED lighting effects are displayed in rain drop and “fire and ice” shaped lights
and curved tiered ceiling coves. A pair of “dice” cubes plus a LED mirror wall was conceived and designed by Marty Peck; implemented by global
