2. Who is Zander Insurance Group?
Zander Insurance Group is a well-known insurance company that
has Dave Ramsey to endorse their service. Zander offers term life,
disability, health, automobile, home and other types of insurance.
One of their popular services includes their identity theft protection.
Zander Insurance Group has been around for more than 80 years
and continues to develop into a better company over time. They are
based out of Nashville, Tennessee and currently employs
approximately 40 people.
3.
4. The fact that Dave Ramsey chooses and recommends Zander
Insurance Group is a big plus over other companies. People highly
seek after his advice in the financial field and trust his judgment
when it comes to their finances being affected by identity fraud.
Also, Zander Insurance offers their plan for an affordable price. It
only costs individuals $7 a month, and family can get protected for
only $13/month. They even provide a fair cancellation policy where
you can cancel within 14 of first signing up. This gives consumers
the opportunity to get a feel for the product and service before
committing.
5. Zander Insurance Group has a great insurance policy in place for
identity theft victims. They are backed by a $1 million insurance
provided by Chartis. Victims can have up to 90 days to report their
case (once they find out they’re a victim to fraud) and are allotted up
to $30,000 in lost wages/income. This should give victims reassurance
that they will not lose any more money out of pocket due to the
incident.
We also like the fact that Zander has been providing identity theft
protection for nine years. This means that they were on top of the
growing issue in its early stages. We also see value in their A+ Better
Business Bureau grade.
6.
7. One downfall to Zander Insurance Group is that they are first an
insurance company who eventually introduced their identity theft
protection product. Their research and focus isn’t in identity theft,
instead they skim the surface when it comes to offering the right
features and services to protect consumers from fraud.
They score low in identity protection and identity recovery, only
offering the bare minimum services. Zander doesn’t even offer
credit monitoring and internet scanning which is the most basic
form of identity protection. If their company doesn’t have simple
services like this in place then how can they truly label their product
as“identity theft protection?”

10. Zander Insurance Group prides themselves in reporting a 100
percent success rate when it comes to completely restoring identity
after victimization to pre-fraud status. Dave Ramsey has even said
that he endorses Zander’s identity theft protection plan and that
they will take over all necessary work in restoring your identity.
Aside from the restoration and resolution part of identity theft, we
find that Zander falls short in the protection side of the necessary
service. Consumers not only want assistance if they find themselves
in trouble, but they also want to make sure that they are protected
from the incident not happening again. We don’t see the necessary
things in place for Zander to best serve those consumers.

you can find more information features, services, price breakdowns,
contract summaries, prices and more.
We don’t fully recommend Zander for their identity theft protection.
We find that they are missing a lot of key components to a
comprehesive service. Zander seems to be good for one things in
particular and that is identity theft restoration. If you are only looking
for an insurance type product for identity theft, then Zander might
work. But we hope to see them improve their identity protection a
little more in the future.
