It always fills my heart with joyIt’s not just a shopping spree

Time to turn my thoughts to thoseWho struggle everydayDo my little bit for themAnd hope things go their way

Time to ponder what I haveWhat I have achievedThank those who are around meFor the help I have received

Christmas is about the bondsWhich sustain me every yearTime out from the daily grindTo repair the wear and tear

I put my home in orderIn a hive of preparationChristmas comes but once a yearIt’s a time of celebration
