Duties and responsibilities
 Checks technical conditions of the vehicle on an ongoing basis
 Carries out regular small services/repair of the vehicle when required.

 Ensures that the vehicle is on good conditions by making daily chuck/ minor
repairs/maintenance.
 Ensures proper use of the vehicle through accurate maintenance of daily vehicle logs, provision
of inputs to preparation of the vehicle maintenance plans and reports
 Recommends any large services/repairs to the transport Officer
 Regularly inspects the vehicle and ensures that the vehicle is supplied with standard equipments

 Monitors fuel consumption records of the project vehicles, maintains stock levels of truck
spare parts and produce periodic reports with recommendation on improvement actions
 Performs diagnostic inspections, problem evaluations, and necessary repairs on automobiles;
 Facilitates and identifies parts and tools needed for repair works, inspection and monitoring of
operational maintenance carry out by garages.
