 Turmeric gains on lower sowing; jeera drops
after Gujarat rains
Turmeric futures rose more than 1 percent on Monday
due to a decline in area under cultivation and on some
fresh export enquiries.
The September turmeric contract on the National
Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) was
up 1.32 percent at 5,974 rupees per 100 kg.

Sell Soya refined oil Chana futures down 0.65 pc on profit-booking
Chana prices moved down by Rs 31 to Rs 4,715 per
below 800 for target quintal in futures trading today as speculators booked
profits at existing higher levels, driven by sluggish spot

Madhya Pradesh also influenced chana futures.
