The Web Goes Social: Blogosphere and Twittersphere
Invited Research Talk in Multimedia University, Cyberjaya, Malaysia on Social Web. Discussion on how search engines can use collective knowledge on Social Web to enhance search engines at large and what are the current research trends in this dimension. We also present a case-study of Blogosphere through a work on blog clustering, and a case-study on Twitter that identifies hot news topics on Twitter.
