2. Who We Are
7N60 Communicatie [67 communications] is a full-service PR
and communication agency founded in 2001 by Damaris
Beems. We have our office and showroom in Weesp, near
Amsterdam. The company is fully independent and owned by
the partners Damaris Beems and Hans Faber.

3. Partners & network
Damaris Beems, Managing Partner and Director,
studied French at the University of Amsterdam and
holds a post-graduate degree in Journalism from
Erasmus University Rotterdam. After completing her
studies Damaris worked as a journalist for Dutch daily
newspaper De Volkskrant, reporting for several
departments including the economics department. Her
broad experience in journalism was gained working for
Dutch radio and TV (e.g. Veronica News Radio and the
KRO network), magazines (SER Bulletin, Psychologie and
Intermediair) and newspapers. In 2001 she started the
agency with clients such as Google Benelux, Nike and
Bugaboo. So when was she born? Indeed, 1967.
Hans Faber, Partner and Director, joined 7N60
Communication in 2005. After earning a degree from
the School for Journalism in Utrecht, Hans began his
career as a reporter for Dutch financial daily Het
Financieele Dagblad. He went on to work for De
Volkskrant, also as a business Reporter. After seven
years of journalism he started working for Nike, where
he spent eight years in various communication
positions. In his final years at Nike, Hans was Senior
Manager of
Corporate Communications for the EMEA region,
responsible for internal and corporate
communications and issue management.
Hans was also a member of the Corporate
Responsibility management team of Nike EMEA. He
has an extensive media network.
We have a small staff, but a large network of free-
lancers, creative people, event managers, etc. We
are used to work directly with our clients,
sometimes in close collaboration with an
advertising or event agency. If we don’t have the
knowledge in-house, we can recommend a partner
to help our clients.
Our name? 7N60 is a phonetic spelling variation of
the number 67 in Dutch.

5. Where We Make a Difference
So where do we make a difference? Most of our clients would
say it’s our commitment. We like to put ourselves in their
position and we are used to looking at a new product, service
or problem from a different angle. We continuously ask
ourselves: what would a journalist find interesting about this?
And answer this question without harming the brand
proposition. In fact, we’re helping building the brand.
7N60 Communicatie is based in Holland, but we are used to
work in an international environment.

For Stichting Meer dan Voetbal we made several editions of De Voorzet, a
newspaper about corporate responsibility projects in the world of football.
7N60 was responsible for copy, lay-out and project management.
7N60 supported the football federation with the ‘Tijd voor Sport’ initiative
and other communication projects. We made several newspapers to inform
clubs about social projects.
