line parachutes that require non-jumping Army
Safeties to pull in static-lines and deployment bags
Jumpers cluttered with gear like
reserve parachutes in the front have
difficult time walking to jump doors
around vehicles rigged for LVAD in
the center
C-5s, C-141Bs and C-17s not
configured for ramp jumps to
follow AFVs being LVADed; even
if they were, someone has to
pull-in static-lines/d-bags; only
44 can ramp-jump from C-130
compared to 64-80 using both
C-130 ramp jump jump doors
C-141B dual door jump: Army Safeties must pull-in
static-lines/d-bags; rear ramp must be closed
