Freight rate levels in the Asia to East Coast South America
Trade are still not at levels where a sustainable and high quality
liner service can be guaranteed.
In order to address this situation, Hamburg Süd & Aliança will
implement a General Rate Restoration from 15th January,
applicable to all shipments from Asia to East Coast South
America in the following amount:
USD 500 per 20' container
USD 1000 per 40' standard and high cube container
USD 1000 per 40' non-operated Reefer container (NOR)
USD 1000 per 40' Reefer container
This increase in freight charges will be applicable for all shipments
made on or after 15th January 2013.
