Selection process:
1. (a) Junior Assistant and Tax Collector-cum-Road Maharer:
The candidates will be selected through written test and oral interview. The shortlisted candidates from
the written test will be called for an oral interview. The final selection will be made on the basis of the
aggregate marks secured by the candidate in both written test and oral interview. The written test will
be of 150 marks and questions will be on the following subjects:
I. General Aptitude
II. General studies and general awareness.
The medium of examination will be in English.
1. (b) Preference will be given to the candidates having basic knowledge of Computer.
2. Last date of submission of application form:
The last date of submission of application in the Standard format of Assam (Gazette Part-IX)
along with relevant testimonials relating to age, qualification and experience etc. is ze'" November/
2014.
Application: Application in Standard Form with two passport size recent photographs, along with
photo copies of age proof certificate and mark sheet of HSLC onwards may be
submitted in the following address.
3. Place of submission of application:
The complete application in all respect must be submitted through post or directly in the

2. 4. Centre: Examination will be conducted in the following centres:
Bongaigaon, Guwahati,Tezpur, Dibrugarh, Jorhat, and Silchar
Candidate may appear in any of the above mentioned centre.
5. Reservation; Reservation for SC/ST(P)/ST(Hills)/OBC/Physically Handicapped and women
candidates as per policy of Govt. of Assam.
6. Relaxation: Relaxation of age for SC/ST/ST(H)/OBC candidate as per norms.
7. Date of examination: Date of examination for Junior Assistant and Tax Collector-cum-Road
Maharer is will be intimated separately.
