The Office of Communications and Marketing provides direct support to the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, to the Virginia Agricultural Experiment Station, and to Virginia Cooperative Extension by building public support and understanding through the effective use of mass communications tools and by preparing a wide range of educational and informational materials. The group promotes the goals of the college through the release of factual, timely information concerning the activities of its students, faculty, and staff. It does this through working with news media representatives, issuing news releases, publishing the college newsletter, and in other ways.
