TOPIC: Can Progress Be Made without Conflict?
Evaluate a country, society, or enterprise that has shown progress in any given
area of your interest to answer the big question.
For instance, this might be a nation´s progress to overcome poverty, illiteracy, etc.
You are required to construct a reasoned case by selecting relevant material from
the full range of documents, combining information or opinion from these files.
Assess the impact of responses to an argument: challenges, supporting evidence,
counter-examples, etc.
The following instructions will be taken into account:
 Written report: given the limit on number of words (2000 at least) the
following approximate balance is recommended:
 Description of context 400 words
 Analysis 800 words
 Discussion and conclusions 800 words
 Your presentation will include the following: text, images, graphics, video,
etc.
 Proofread your biography and include citations for your images, video, and
other sources of information. Add this at the end of your presentation.
 This presentation should be no more than 16 minutes long.
 Plagiarism from library, Internet or other sources is not acceptable.
