  create a shared space for all users


•	 To have greater consideration for non motorised users such as
   pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians


•	 To ensure better community connectivity


•	 To reduce the impact of vehicles trips along the corridor

Macro Scope
Original intersection designed by OPUS. Macro Scope layouts were
designed to maximise traffic efficiency and were based on a different
model, different forecast year and different development flows from the
Local LOS layouts.


Local Level of Service (LOS)
Intersection layouts resulting from revisiting traffic modelling and
design objectives
Intersection performance of Local LOS design is acceptable in 2016 (WL
Stage1) and no worse than Macro Scope in 2026

The Landscape Design uses planting, paths/road alignments and open spaces to:

•	 Mitigate the effects of the road – stormwater collection and treatment, visual screening, noise reduction.
•	 Shape and colour the natural landforms – making the landscape more legible.
