NASA plans to award five companies (Russian, Chinese, ESA, ISRO, JAXA) $100 billion each totaling $12.9 trillion by January 31, 2021 to manufacture space shuttles, space stations, and other spacecraft. SpaceX will retire from international space station flights in 2021. Airbus will hire all SpaceX employees. NASA also plans additional $1 trillion awards to various countries and groups for projects including space stations and a Mars village.
