1. The Cattery Hattery’s Hat Attachment Guide
HOW TO ATTATCH YOUR HAT
Method 1 – Threaded Ribbons
Step 1:- Using 1 of the 2 bobby pins provided, slide your bobby pin
through a pair of diagonally opposing ribbon loops on the base of your
hat at the angle of your choice
Step 2:- Thread the ribbon through the end of the bobby pin, much as
though you are threading a needle

2. Step 3:- Pull the ribbon through the ribbon loops on the base of your hat
by drawing the bobby pin through to the other side
Step 4:- remove the bobby pin and even out your ribbon. The ribbon can
then be used to tie the hat on under your doll’s chin or also be wrapped
under the chin and passed once or twice around the neck to secure
before tying.
Optional step 5:- If you are attaching your hat to the head of a fixed-ear
anthro doll then you may wish to repeat steps 1-4 with a second ribbon
so that you can pass a ribbon end on either side of your anthro’s ears and
then secured at the base of the head…wither under the chin or at the
back of the head or after binding around the neck

4. Other Hat method attachment methods:-
For wigged or rooted hair dolls, use 1 or both of the bobby pins provided and
threading these through the ribbon loops on the underside of your hat.
These can then be used to secure the hat by pinning it to your doll’s hair as desired
Also for wigged or rooted dolls, you will see I have provided 2 tiny toothed clips.
By carefully hooking the bottom teeth of one or both of these clips to the ribbon loops
on the underside of your hat then these can be used to clip the hat onto your dolls
wig or hair as desired.
Happy Hatting
