Project Name : Low Power and Area Efficient Carry Select Adder
Description:
Carry select adder is one of the fastest adder to perform arithmetic operations. From the
structure of CSLA there is scope for reducing area and power. Based on gate level
modification of 16,32 bit carry select adder (CSLA) has been developed and compared
with regular CSLA architecture .In the modified design ripple carry adder(RCA)is replaced
with Binary to Excess1 converter(BEC). The advantage of BEC comes from the lesser number of
logic gates than the full adder structure.
