Rambler® Classic
The affordable Strobel Rambler® Classic shares
the same great design as the Rambler® Custom
Professional Electric Travel Guitar. Your choice
of Tobacco or Cherry Sunburst. Two high
output humbucking pick ups, volume and tone
controls, tunomatic bridge and locking tuners.
Solid maple body, flamey maple top, and
maple neck with rosewood fret board. Easily
disassembles to fit you your computer bag or
briefcase!
There are several travel guitars on the market, but only one travel electric guitar that plays
and sounds good enough to take on stage. The full scale length Strobel Rambler® portable
guitar conveniently breaks down to separate the neck and body so the components fit in a
briefcase or computer bag. No more travel hassles! Strobel guitars are fine musical
instruments perfected for the traveling musician. We offer a top quality, great sounding
instrument that makes it easy to travel with your guitar.
The Strobel Rambler® Custom Professional Electric Travel Guitar
comes with all Schaller electronics and hardware. Similar to a
Gibson Les Paul (but half the weight) with two Schaller® Golden
50 humbucking pick ups, tunomatic bridge and locking
tuners. Choose your tone woods, color, neck profile, fret board
and custom inlay. Options include AAA quilted maple top, gold
hardware, coil tap, piezo bridge and pre-amp. Easily disassembles
to fit in your computer bag or briefcase!
We select the finest tone woods for your Rambler® Custom travel guitar, usually Honduran
mahogany or swamp ash for the bodies. We add a flamey maple top to brighten the sound
and to enhance the visual appeal of the portable guitar. Necks are made from mahogany or
maple, with an Indian or Honduran rosewood fret board. Dark ebony fret boards are also
available. After gluing the bodies, templates define the top and bottom body contours. Holes
are drilled, cavities routed and necks and bodies are matched to ensure a perfect fit. The
necks are shaped to your specifications, matching any neck contour you desire.
