Disseminating Evidence Through
Podium/Oral Presentations
• Inquire about the audience
− Education level, expertise, reason for interest
• Context of the presentation
• Desired length and format
• Any special considerations
• Ensure that slides are simple, relevant, and easy to read

Disseminating Evidence Through Panel
Presentations
• Effective venues for conveying divergent perspectives on
topics
• Moderator may serve as the coordinator, managing the
agenda
• Moderator asks questions of the panel members to elicit
their opinions

Preparation for a Panel Presentation
