Currently Head of Web Science Lab at IIIT Bangalore (http://wsl.iiitb.ac.in/) Research activities over the past 8 years have encompassed the following areas: Graph data management (with applications to managing protein data, hyperlink data, control flow data) Data-centric networking (with applications to search and localization in ad hoc networks, DHT design) Cognitive models for semantics extraction (with applications to text mining, hyperlink analysis and automated tagging) Open-world computing or computing in the face of uncertainty (with applications to query optimization in stream grids and anomaly detection in grid environments)
