I've no need of one. For the journeys I do, an electric bike would seem an extravagance.

Might be expensive - initial cost , maintenance cost and the cost of charging

Bike is dual functional - to get to work and for exercise.

I dont see the point in purchasing a bike that is supposed to be powered by a human if you're going to attach an accessory that will help make it easier on yourself.

Should weigh less and be able to carry it to avoid thefts (as it is becoming quite common in the place where I live).
I have no requirements
this survey is a bit irrelevent as i answered no to the very first question...so i think u need to mk sum changes to these questions....
New ides (for me) i would prefer to fit to my existing bike, i am from india(South)
Again i cycle for fitness so i have no interest in converting my bike to be powered
I like the idea of exercising so would only like to ride a normal bike
SPEED I would like to use the motor to boost my input not substitute for it maybe help with hills etc needs power rather than longevity
Never considered it so I can't need it, but would look if it was reasonable in price and might be of some use
an electric converserion is pointless and for lazy people
if i was to purchase an electric conversion it would be so that i could travel faster, up steeper graidients and for longer so the kit would have to be very powerfull, ie: if i could make my mtb
travel at 30mph+ on flat and up very steep hills, slide round corners on dry tarmac and the weight was not detrimental to handling then i would concider getting one but this then becomes
more of a motorbike...
