3. Pre-Requisites for XAT Registration
• Valid email address
• Valid mobile phone number
• Marksheets of class X, XII, graduation and/or other equivalent exams.
• Details of work experiences (if any)
• Preferred XAT Exam Center choices
• Scanned images of photograph and signature
• Scanned copy of category certificate (if any)
• Bank details (credit card, debit card or net banking) for payment ofApplication

4. How to Register for XAT 2018?
1. Registration-Visit the official website of XAT and enter your name, email id and
contact details
2. Fill XAT Application Form- Enter personal details, contact information, academic
details, work experience, program preference and exam center preference.
3.Upload Documents- Upload your scanned copies of documents such as Photograph,
Signature,Category certificate and disability certificate
4.Payment of Application Fee- XAT 2018 Application Fee can be paid online via net
banking/credit card/debit card.

5. Step 1- Online Registration
1. Visit the official website of XAT i.e. xatonline.in
2. Click on ‘Click Here for New Registration’
3. Enter Name, Contact details and Email-id
4. A provisional XAT ID number and Password will be
sent through SMS & email

6. Step 2- Fill XAT Application Form
1. Enter your XAT id and Password sent on your registered
email address and mobile number
2. XAT Application Form will open
3. Enter the following details:
• Personal Details
• Academic History
• Program Preference

7. Step 3- Upload Documents

8. Step 4- Pay Application Fee
• The application fee is same for all categories i.e. INR 1650
• Candidates interested in XLRI programmes need to pay an
additional fee of INR 300/- each
• If the fee is paid after the last date, it is INR 2000
• Candidates interested in XLRI programmes need to pay an
additional fee of INR 500/- each after the last date

9. Mode of Payment
1. Online- Debit Card, Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/
Mobile Wallets
2. Offline- IDBI Bank Challan/ DD
Candidates making the payment offline have to send the filled form to the
following address within fifteen days from the date of issuance of DD:

10. XAT 2018 Registration through GMAT
Candidates may choose to apply through GMAT score obtained during
December 01, 2015 and December 20, 2017 for following XLRI
programmes.
• Indian candidates can only apply for General Management
Programme through GMAT score.
• NRI and Foreign candidates in addition to the above programmes
may also apply for Business Management and Human Resource
Management programmes using GMAT score

11. How to Apply through GMAT?
1. Visit acad.xlri.ac.in/gmatadmission
2. Enter your GMAT ID, GMAT Score and GMAT Date
3. Enter your personal, academic and work experience details
4. Select programme preference
5. Pay application fee through online mode
• Indian Nationals- INR 2500
• NRIs- INR 5000
6. Upload photograph and signature
7. Submit application form

12. XAT Application Form Correction
• The form correction window in XAT will be available for limited time only.
The dates are yet to be out.

13. How to Apply for XAT Form Correction?
1. Open the official website for XAT 2017 i.e. xatonline.in.
2. Click on the “Existing User” button.
3. Enter your XAT id and password and click on “Login”.
4. Navigate through the different sections in the application form and
check the details you have entered.
5. Change or modify the details which are incorrect or incomplete.
6. Click on “Save and Continue” or “Save” and Exit.
