1. Zamek Grodziec Zamek znajduje się we wsi Grodziec na Pogórzu Kaczawskim – 105 km od Wrocławia i 35 km od Legnicy. Na Grodźcu kończy się Szlak Zamków Piastowskich, który zaczyna się od zamku Grodno w Zagórzu Śląskim i prowadzi dalej przez Książ, Bolków, Bolczów, Jelenią Górę oraz Wleń. Cała trasa obejmuje 15 ruin zamków i grodów piastowskich. Zamek Grodziec wznosi się na powulkanicznym bazaltowym wzgórzu – 389 m. n.p.m. W połowie drogi na zamek znajduje się kościółek, którego ufundowanie przypisuje się św. Jadwidze. A niedaleko zamku leży barokowy trójskrzydłowy pałac, w stanie do gruntownego remontu
Klimat zamku W Grodźcu panuje zupełnie inna atmosfera niż w typowym zamku. Turyści mogą nie tylko zwiedzić każdy zakamarek (z przewodnikiem lub bez), lecz także przenocować w jednej z wież. Myli się jednak ten, kto myśli, że został on przerobiony na hotel, jak w przypadku niektórych polskich zamków czy pałaców. Do pokojów nie wstawiono „plazmy” czy innych technicznych nowinek. Kustosz Zenon Bernacki nie żąda bajońskich sum za wejście do zamku, czy noclegi. Podczas Majówki można poczuć się jak w czasach średniowiecznych, dzięki strojom z epoki, zbrojom, turniejom łucznictwa, czy możliwości obejrzenia walk rycerskich. Można zjeść chleba ze smalcem, ogrzać się przy ognisku i posłuchać zespołów ludowych. Jednak prawdziwy klimat zamku odczuwa się w sezonie mniej turystycznym, kiedy na zamku nocuje tylko kilka osób. Można wtedy posłuchać miejscowych legend i opowieści o duchach, a wszystko to przy ognisku, gdy zapada zmrok…
