This document discusses how a CV is like the roof of a house and should be built from the foundations up. It says: 1) Understanding your values, passions, and skills are the foundations that need to be laid before writing a CV, just as foundations are laid before building a house. 2) Identifying your career goals and project is like putting up the walls of the house, which support the roof. A CV without clear targets is aimless. 3) A well-built roof and CV that starts from strong foundations and has clear goals will protect you from career difficulties, just as a roof protects from weather. But a roof or CV built without foundations and goals risks collapsing.

Like in a house, you don’t start building a house with

understand who you are (values, passions) and
your skills. These are the foundations of your house.

4. Putting the walls…
Once we have laid down
the foundations, we start
putting the walls……
….putting the walls
is to understand what
you want to do,
what is your project?

Your roof needs
to be supported
by solid walls
otherwise the roof
will collapse……

 So identifying your
project is key, because
a CV without target is
like being in the desert
without a compass…
you go all over the place, finding nothing…..

A roof well built will

 But never forget to start with the foundations
first and the walls…otherwise your house
won’t stand against any wind
 Writing a CV without understanding your
skills/strengths and without a clear target in
mind is a waste of time!
