All five entrances are supported by Action Tour Guide.
When you purchase the Yellowstone National Park tour from Action Tour Guide, the
different entrances are available as separate tour versions. You can choose the tour
version based on the entrance you plan to use.
What's even better is that our app offers a separate tour option specifically designed
for a clockwise or counterclockwise route. So, regardless of the entrance or direction
you choose to explore the park, our app has you covered.
Just be sure to have all your versions downloaded ahead of time since there’s no
signal in the park.

Bear Spray: Yellowstone is home to bears, and it's advisable to carry bear spray as
a safety precaution. Make sure you know how to use it effectively and store it in an
easily accessible location.
Insect Repellent: Mosquitoes and other biting insects can be present in certain
areas of the park, especially during the summer months. Carry an insect repellent
to protect yourself from bites.
Hiking Boots: Yellowstone offers numerous hiking opportunities, so it's important
to have sturdy and comfortable footwear. Invest in a pair of hiking boots that
provide good ankle support and have a grip for varying terrains.
Binoculars: Yellowstone is known for its wildlife, and having a pair of binoculars can
enhance your wildlife viewing experience. It allows you to observe animals from a
safe distance and appreciate their natural behaviour.
What to Carry
Extra Layers of Clothing: Even in summer, temperatures in Yellowstone can be
chilly, especially in the early morning and evening. Pack extra layers of clothing,
including a warm jacket, hat, and gloves, to stay comfortable in changing weather
conditions.
Sunscreen and Sunglasses: The sun can be intense at high altitudes and during
bright days. Protect your skin and eyes by applying sunscreen with a high SPF and
wearing sunglasses that block both UVA and UVB rays.
Snacks and Water Bottles: Carry plenty of snacks and refillable water bottles to
stay hydrated and energised throughout your adventures. There are refill stations
available at various locations within the park.
Camera and Spare Batteries: Capture the stunning landscapes, geothermal
features, and wildlife encounters in Yellowstone with a reliable camera. Don't
forget to pack spare batteries or a portable charger to ensure you don't miss any
photo opportunities.
Cash and Cards: Carry some cash for emergencies, as well as a credit or debit card
for larger expenses.
