The following states my team’s current progress, goals and concerns.
Completed Tasks:
● Email of Inquiry
● Client Proposal (draft and final)
● Outline of Quick Reference Guide template
Tasks to be Completed:
● Seek feedback from Rachael Wendler, Wildcat Writers project coordinator, on our quick
reference guide template.
● Create the draft for the quick reference guide by filling in the template with the
information for Wildcat Writers quick reference.
● Submit reference guide
Goals:
We have agreed to utilize Adobe InDesign, a Publication software that we feel is best suited in
delivering an attractive yet informative reference guide for the organization. Our team and
Rachel expect this reference guide to generate funds that’s imperative to the organization’s
mission in educating students from Desert View and Sunnyside High School the essence of
college level writing.
Concerns:
We have obstacles to hurdle in finding time to work on the reference guide. I am having
difficulty managing other school work and my part time job. Kendra and Kristin are loaded with
school work as well as other outside obligations which can be a handful for anyone to undergo.
However we have solutions to hurdle these obstacles. I’m currently working as a Multimedia
Consultant at Office of Student Computing Resources (OSCR) where I’m able to work on school
work on the job. Kristin dedicates any spare time she gets to the project while juggling her
school schedule with 18 units worth of classes, and raising her 4­year­old daughter. Though she
is busy she is confident in her commitment to the team to complete the project. Kendra is also
taking 18 units worth of classes this fall and is graduating in December. Along with preparing to
graduate she works late nights shifts, but has assured that she is able to work on the project to
complete her part, and so far has demonstrated strong responsibility to the group.
Aside from our concerns we remain on time with our progress towards completing our client’s
tax credit reference guide, and we look forward to submission in the coming days.
